Open Your project in Unity

• or create a new one

Enable Unsafe Code

• Click Edit → Project Settings
• Search “unsafe” in the top right of the settings window
• Expand Other Settings
• Scroll down until you find Allow ‘unsafe’ Code
  • “unsafe” will be highlighted in blue

Add the Controlpads Software Library

• Download the correct library file from https://github.com/RecBox-Games/UnityResources/tree/main/libs and place it in YourUnityProject/Assets/Plugins/

  Windows: c_sharp_controlpads.dll

  Linux: libc_sharp_controlpads.so

  • create the Plugins directory if it doesn’t exist

Create a Controlpads Game Object

• Add a new empty GameObject to your scene
• rename it Controlpads

Add the glue code

• Download controlpads_glue.cs from https://github.com/RecBox-Games/UnityResources/blob/main/controlpads_glue.cs and place it in your Assets directory
• drag the script onto the Controlpads GameObject
